[dropcap]I[/dropcap]SIDA is one of the largest private women’s health and family planning centers in Ukraine. It has operated for more than 24 years and served more than 110,000 people from 77 countries. ISIDA has four Kiev-based clinics, each with its own diagnostic center, laboratory, and prenatal care, maternity and pediatric departments.

ISIDA employs more than 600 people, 90 of whom are experienced doctors that mostly completed training courses abroad and are active members of the Presidium of the Ukrainian Association of Reproductive Medicine (UARM), the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM). [dropcap]T[/dropcap]he Institute for Reproductive Medicine (IRM) is an international center for the diagnosis and treatment of infertility that has operated for 22 years. Every year, it helps approximately 500 children from Ukraine, Europe, Asia, North and South America to be born. IRM is famous for its founder, Prof. Fedor V. Dakhno, who coordinated the process of the first fertilization and the first pregnancy using the in-vitro (“in glass”) method in Ukraine. Treatment services provided here include IVF (in vitro), insemination, donor programs, ICSI, IMSI, РICSI, TESA, TESE, MESA, PESA, assisted zona hatching, and other procedures with the use of Card technologies.

There are experienced fertility specialists (members of UARM, ESHRE and ASRM), gynaecologists-endocrinologists, urologists-andrologists, and embryologists who regularly attend trainings and undertake internships in progressive international centers of infertility treatment. Director Fedor V. Dakhno, being the Vice President of the Ukrainian Association for Reproductive Medicine and a member of ESHRE Advisory Committee (1998-2012), has contributed a lot to the development of the legal framework concerning ART in Ukraine. There are several specialists of IRM who know English and several other languages.
