Photo provided by Adria Airways

Adria Airways has just relaunched a route connecting Kiev and Ljubljana after a five-year break. Currently, there are three flights per week, allowing travel to Kiev on Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays departing at 10:35 p.m. and arriving at 1:40 a.m. local time. Flights to Ljubljana depart on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 5 a.m., arriving at 6:20 a.m. local time. There have been no direct Ukraine-Slovenia routes since 2012, so passengers have had to fly through Budapest or Venice. “We believe that with this new service, not only do our passengers gain better connections to Kiev, but we will also be connecting Ukraine to other European destinations via Ljubljana,” says Adria Airways managing director Arno Schuster.

Local Legislation news

As Ukraine is a developing country, the legislation here is constantly changing. Among the recent legislation updates are the approvement of the Medical, the Pension, and the Judicial reforms by Ukrainian Parliament.
Also, the Ukrainian Parliament passed a bill according to which December 25 (Western Christmas) will become a day off and, thus, in Ukraine Christmas will be officially celebrated twice (December 25 and January 07). Besides, the holiday of May 02 was canceled so the total number of official days off remains the same.
